Police: Drunk Florida Man Involved in Two Hit-and-Run Accidents in Southampton, Attempts to Flee Police
The incident occurred on Sunday.

A Florida man was arrested on Sunday after driving drunk and being involved in two hit-and-run accidents on CR-39 in Southampton and fleeing westbound on State Route 27, according to State Police.
A State Trooper was monitoring the Southampton Town Police radio and saw the suspected car, which was riding on only three tires, on State Route 27 east of County Route 111 in Westhampton, according to police.
The car came to a stop and Troopers attempted to place the driver, Ilich Godoy-Hooker, 29, into custody where he resisted arrest, police said.

He was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, resisting arrest and multiple traffic infractions, police said.
Godoy-Hooker will be arraigned in the Town of Southampton Court at a later date.
