Police: Four Arrested on DWI Charges Over Fourth of July Weekend
Police arrested for men for driving drunk within the Town of Southampton this past weekend.

A total of four men were arrested for driving drunk within the Town of Southampton over the Fourth of July holiday weekend.
Southampton Town Police reported the following arrests from this past weekend:
- Dylan Reeve, 30, of Flanders was arrested, on Friday at about 11 p.m. on Squiretown Road in Hampton Bays. Reeve was stopped for a traffic infraction and further investigation revealed he was driving while in an intoxicated condition. He was charged with DWI and was held overnight to be arraigned at Southampton Town Justice Court at 8 a.m. on Saturday.
- Jose Martiznez, 31, of Flanders was arrested on Saturday at about 1 A.M. on Vail Avenue in Flanders. Martinez was stopped for a traffic infraction and further investigation revealed he was driving while in an intoxicated condition. He was charged with DWI and was held overnight to be arraigned at Southampton Town Justice Court at 8 a.m. on Saturday.
- Chanh Truong, 57, of East Hampton was arrested on Friday at about 11 p.m. on Montauk Highway in Water Mill. He was stopped for a traffic infraction and further investigation revealed that he was driving while in an intoxicated condition. Truong was charged with DWI and was held overnight to be arraigned at Southampton Town Justice Court at 8 a.m. on Saturday.
- Peter Ernst, 51, of Flanders was arrested on Friday at about 8 p.m. on Flanders Road in Flanders. He was stopped for a traffic infraction and further investigation revealed that he was driving while in an intoxicated condition. He was charged with DWI and was held overnight and will be arraigned at Southampton Town Justice Court at 8 a.m. on Saturday.
