Police: Hampton Bays Father Arrested For Pointing Gun At Son

Southampton Town Police arrest Patrick S. Coonradt on charges of criminal possession of a weapon and menacing.

A Hampton Bays man was arrested for pointing a shotgun at his 18-year-old son during a domestic dispute on Sunday, police said.

Police responded to a 911 call for help at 6 p.m. at a Hampton Bays home and arrested Patrick S. Coonradt, 45, at the residence.

He was charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree and menacing in the second degree.

No injuries were sustained during the incident.

Coonrandt was remanded to jail in lieu of $1,500 bail.
