Police: Man Charged With Driving While on Drugs in Southampton
The arrest was made on Friday.
A Center Moriches man was arrested for driving while on drugs in Southampton on Friday, according to State Police.
Joseph J. Sasala Jr., 24, was stopped for a traffic violation on CR-39 eastbound west of Tuckahoe Lane, police said.
He was arrested for driving while ability impaired by drugs, seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fifth degree criminal possession of marijuana, and unlawful possession marijuana, according to police.

Sasala was released on an appearance ticket and uniform traffic tickets returnable to the Town o Southampton Court on Dec. 30.
