Police: Woman Falsely Reports Rape

A Riverside woman falsely reported an incident stating she was forcibly raped by a male subject at the Bridge Golf Course in Bridgehampton

A Riverside woman was arrested on Wednesday, Sept. 24 after falsely reporting an incident to the police.

On Friday, Sept. 12, Magdalena Sebastian-Manuel, 22, reported to police that she was forcibly raped by a male subject at the Bridge Golf Course in Bridgehampton.

After further investigation of the incident, investigators found she fabricated the story when her husband became suspect of her actions.

She admitted to lying and was arrested last Wednesday for falsely reporting an incident in the third degree. Sebastian-Manuel is due to return to court later in the month.
