Putting Green Vespas in Shop Windows Is a Thing Now
Two Southampton Village shopfronts decorate with Italian scooters.
In addition to mannequins sporting the latest fashions, motor vehicles are now showing up in Southampton Village shop windows.
Two village storefronts parked green Vespas in their windows this spring.
At Ralph Lauren on Jobs Lane, the Italian scooter is simply standing behind two headless mannequins wearing black and white. Meanwhile, on Main Street, two mannequins — one seemingly without any legs — ride a Vespa in the window of the new shop Shari's Place, waving to passersby.
Apparantly, green Vespas is the latest thing.
