Report: Wampum Skate Shop Opens Its Doors

in Bridgehampton held a grand opening party Wednesday night, hosting local creative types and stoked East End skaters. Guests enjoyed music, drinks and skating videos as artists exhibited local pieces created special for the store.

Brothers Marley and Lennon Ficalora of Montauk opened the shop right behind the eponymous shop of local jewelry designer Helen Ficalora, their mother.

Wampum is a side project for the brothers, who will use the shop to sell and repair boards, sell men's skater apparel, and promote skating events around the East End. In their spare time both brothers have other jobs, and also run a video production firm.
