Riverhead Man Charged With DWI In Riverside: Police
He was arrested early Monday, police said.
RIVERSIDE, NY — A Riverhead man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated in Riverside early Monday, police said.
According to Southampton Town Police, at 12:15 a.m. Mario Tocay-Xuya, 32, was seen failing to maintain his lane on Flanders Road. He was stopped and authorities determined that he was driving while intoxicated, police said.
Tocay-Xuya was arrested, charged with misdemeanor DWI, as well as several other New York State vehicle and traffic law violations, and taken to Southampton Town Police headquarters for arrest processing, police said. He was held to appear in Southampton Town Justice Court for morning arraignment, police said.
