Drunk Driver Crashes Into Car in Hampton Bays: Police
The Calverton woman was charged with a misdemeanor; no injuries were reported, police said.

WESTHAMPTON-HAMPTON BAYS, NY - A Calverton woman was nabbed for driving drunk after she crashed into another vehicle in Hampton Bays on Wednesday, police said.
According to Southampton Town Police, Amber McArthur, 25, was arrested at 12:31 a.m. on Bellows Pond Road in Hampton Bays after police responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident.
Upon arrival and investigation it was learned that McArthur was traveling on Bellows Pond Road when she lost control of her vehicle, crossed the roadway and collided with another vehicle, police said.

There were no injuries reported as a result of the accident, police said.
McArthur was found to be intoxicated; she was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, moving from lane unsafely, a violation, and speed unreasonable and imprudent, a violation, police said.

McArthur was held for morning arraignment, police said.
