Sag Harbor Man Charged With DWI After Crashing Into Utility Pole: PD

NORTH HAVEN, NY — A Sag Harbor man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after he crashed into a utility pole Monday night, police said.

John Wrynn, 57, was heading east on Ferry Road at 7:58 p.m. when he drove off the road and struck the pole, Southampton Town police said.

Wrynn was arrested and charged with misdemeanor DWI, police said. He was taken to Southampton Town police headquarters for processing and was held to appear in Southampton Town Justice Court for morning arraignment, police said.
