Sag Harbor Students Honored for Leadership

SAG HARBOR, NY — Sag Harbor seniors were honored for leadership on Wednesday, district officials said.

Pierson High School student-athletes Jack Brown and Anna Sherwood were honored by the New York State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance as Suffolk Zone Student Leadership award winners at a ceremony on Dec. 7, according to a release.

The students, along with others from across the county, were selected based upon their excellence in physical education, leadership ability and willingness to help others, the release said.
