Sag Harbor Teacher Receives 'Bright Light' Award

The award was given by the Suffolk ASSET at a luncheon on Wednesday.

Jeff Reed, a fourth-grade teacher at Sag Harbor Elementary School, was recognized as a “Bright Light” by Suffolk ASSET at a luncheon on Wednesday, Jan. 14 at the Timber Point Country Club in Great River.

The “Bright Light” award acknowledges teachers who enhance classroom learning through the use of technology.

Reed was honored along with 13 other teachers from across Long Island.

Suffolk Asset is membership association, which encourages the integration of technology into the K-12 curriculum.
