Sag Harbor's 'HarborFrost' Unfolds Saturday

The fun includes ice carving demonstrations, ice sculptures along Main Street, music, dance, fireworks, fire juggling, kids' activities.

SAG HARBOR, NY — One of the East End's most beloved winter events kicks off Saturday in Sag Harbor, as HarborFrost is set to delight.

"HarborFrost: Fire And Ice" takes place Saturday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 1 Long Wharf.

"HarborFrost is a celebration of winter in Sag Harbor highlighting two extreme elements — fire and ice," the Sag Harbor Chamber of Commerce said.

The event features live ice carving demonstrations, ice sculptures along Main Street, live music performances, and indoor children’s activities. Guests can spend the day shopping and dining in Sag Harbor, which is open for business.

Also popular are the dazzling fireworks over the harbor.

11:30 a.m.: Culinary Stroll: Il Cappuccino Restaurant for registration and event start
Noon to 3 p.m.: Free glitter tattoos at The Wharf Shop
1 p.m.: Sign up for Frosty Plunge in The Windmill
1 p.m. to 4 p.m.: Hot chocolate station, photo booth and more, at John Jermain Library
2 p.m.: Frosty Plunge: Windmill Beach, benefits Sag Harbor Volunteer Ambulance
2 p.m.: Ice carving begins.
2:30 p.m.: Live music: Alfredo Merat at LuLu’s
2:30 p.m.: Meet and greet Anna and Elsa from "Frozen" at Sag Harbor Variety
2 p.m. to 4 p.m.: Free face painting at Stella and Ruby
2 p.m. to 5 p.m.: KidsFun at Dodds and Eder (Bridge Street)
3 p.m.: Keith Leaf the Amazing Fire Juggler at The Windmill
4 p.m.: Live music: Jake Lear at Buddhaberry
5:30: p.m. Fiery Sensations Fire Dancers at Long Wharf
6:15 p.m.: Fireworks over the harbor
