Sailing Season is On
The ultimate "Entertainment" is the great sailing in Gardiner's Bay and Peconic Bay

The sailing season of 2015 is underway and most of the boats around town and on the east end are in the water. The winds have been in the low to mid teens and the waves have been between 2 to 3 feet. If you haven’t been out yet head out soon, it’s time to get reacquainted with sailing. The weather will only improve as we head toward July!
My 22’ Catalina is moving in on 45 years old and yet it still sails wonderfully. It cost me all of $1800 but has given me millions of dollars of joy. Later by the end of the month I plan on posting some photos from out in the bays of the east end. One sad note , my Beagle “Bo” passed last October so he won’t be out there sailing with me anymore. I have his tags on the rigging. Feel free to comment if you love to sail.
