School District Seeks Volunteers For Task Force Focusing On Inclusion

Volunteers are needed for the social and emotional, as well as equity, task force.

BRIDGEHAMPTON, NY — The Bridgehampton School District is looking for volunteers to serve on a task forced focused on diversity and equity.

The district is looking to reinstate its social-emotional and equity task force from two years ago.

"To ensure the district is culturally responsive and a sustaining environment for all, the district would like to utilize this committee to continue to improve on all of the work of its staff and community," school officials said. "At each committee meeting, a BOCES representative who specializes in diversity, equity and inclusion will join to help guide" the discussions, officials said.
