Eighth grader, Jordan Klinge received a score of 97, “A+” on his level 5 NYSSMA Bassoon Solo. Congratulations, Jordan! On Monday, May 5th, Tuckahoe Common School District’s Elementary Science Coordinator, Jennifer Pascual, took Mrs. O’Brien and Mrs. McLaughlin’s first grade classes to explore the woodlands and pond ecosystem at the Sebonack Golf Course. Students created terrarium habitats in alignment with their FOSS science curriculum. These habitats will be housing pill bugs and sow bugs for further scientific investigation. Students will be learning firsthand the basic needs for living animals and be able to compare these needs to the needs of plants they will be growing in the classroom.
