On Monday, June 9th, Elementary Science Coordinator, Jennifer Pascual, took Mrs. Brett Voegel and Mrs. Christina Collins third grade classes to the Sebonack Golf Course for their second science excursion. Students were able to release their classroom crayfish into Sebonack’s Crayfish Pond. Students made wonderings and questions about how the crayfish will react to the change in their habitat. They also visited Sebonack’s Frog Pond to observe the tadpole habitat. Students tied this real-life experience to their ELA Module, where they have been learning about the adaptations of Bullfrogs. Tuckahoe’s 8th Grade Graduation this year will be held on Thursday, June 26 at 6:30 p.m. in the school cafetorium.
