School News - Week of March 17-21

Attention Tuckahoe families!  Friday, March 28th, is Tuckahoe Pizza Night at Melrose East Pizzeria!  Dine-in or take-out between 5:00-10:00 p.m. on Friday, March 28th and mention “Tuckahoe School” and Melrose will donate 20% of their profit to the Tuckahoe Sixth Grade Class trip to Washington DC when they are in 8th grade!  We thank you for your support!  Melrose East Pizzeria, 801 County Road 39, Southampton, NY (next door to Goldberg’s Bagels), phone #(631) 283-6770.  Our Middle School Dance this year is being held on Friday, March 21st at 6:00-8:00 p.m.  The CPR course for our Middle School students has been rescheduled to Thursday, April 10th from 2:45 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Tuckahoe School Library.  There is no cost for the course.  Tuckahoe’s Student Council will be paying for all of the materials and the Southampton Ambulance will be doing the training course.  If you need additional information about the CPR course and/or the middle school dance, please contact Mrs. Kerry Terry at 283-3550 ext. 122.  English as a Second Language (ESL) classes for adults will be held on Mondays and Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. at Tuckahoe School.  The first began in January.  All are welcome!  Save the Date!  The event everyone looks forward to... “Taste of Tuckahoe” has been set for Friday, April 25th.  Visit tasteoftuckahoe.com for information as it becomes available.
