School Spirit In The Air At Sag Harbor Homecoming
Students at homecoming enjoyed the district's natural grass field for the first time.
SAG HARBOR, NY — Homecoming in Sag Harbor included a celebration of the district's new, natural grass field.
According to district officials, homecoming took place on Friday and Saturday, beginning Friday afternoon with an after-school pep rally, where students cheered this year's athletic teams and then attended a dance off.
Next, a ribbon cutting ceremony for the field was held, with students from both boys and girls soccer participating. The brand-new back field also features a new scoreboard and steps.

Rain didn't dampen the homecoming spirit on Saturday, as students enjoyed a parade, class skits and sporting events including field hockey, an alumni game and a varsity boys soccer game, district representatives said.
