School Vote 2018: Bridgehampton Budget, BOE Candidates
Here's what you need to know before you vote.

BRIDGEHAMPTON, NY — Voters are heading out Tuesday to vote on a proposed Bridgehampton Union Free School District $16,297, 465 budget for 2018 to 2019 that represents a 13.52 percent increase and a tax levy increase of 13.72 percent tax levy increase, allowable under the district's tax cap limit of 13.72 percent.
According to the district, $1,003,465 is attributable to new construction bond debt. Instructional mandates are driving increased costs, the district said.
Board of education incumbents Ron White, Lillian Tyree-Johnson and Douglas DeGroot are running unopposed.
