Severe Weather Sparks Closure Of Southampton Town Facilities
There's a two-hour delay for Southampton Town facilities for Thursday.
SOUTHAMPTON, NY — Severe weather conditions have prompted the closure of Southampton Town Hall and all town facilities at noon on Wednesday, Supervisor Jay Schneiderman said.
Essential personnel are to remain or report to work as directed by their supervisor, he added.
The town will be on a two-hour delayed opening Thursday; if conditions necessitate a further delay or closing, employees will be notified prior to 7 a.m., town officials said.
