Congratulations, Nicholas Maddock!

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — A Southampton High School senior and Eagle Scout has been named the Rotary Club of Southampton's Student of the Month for February.

Maddock earned the honor, the Rotary said, for his dedication to his studies and school community. He has served as president of his school’s robotics club and vice president of the Southampton chapter of the Junior State of America and the Patriots Club. He is also a member of the National and Latin honor societies.

As a Scout, Maddock served as a senior patrol leader of Troop 58, for which he is also junior assistant scoutmaster, and earned the Trailblazer District Honor Spirit Award. In addition, he was treasurer of the Southampton Fire Department Juniors program last year.
