SOUTHAMPTON, NY — The Southampton Fire Department paid solemn tribute to heroes lost on 9/11 Monday.

Sirens sounding and bells tolling, the fire department held its annual 9/11 remembrance ceremony.

Southampton Village Police were onhand to assist with traffic and attend the service, Chris Brenner, public information officer for the SFD, said.
