Southampton High School Student Named Lion's Girl of the Month
The student was recently received the honor for the month of February.

Southampton High School student Keara Wood was recently named the Lion’s Girl of the Month for February.
The Student Body Co-President has been involved with Student Council throughout her high school career, serving as the Class of 2017 Co-President her sophomore year and Co-Vice-President her junior and freshman years.

Keara has also served as an officer of Athletes Helping Athletes, Captain of the Varsity Field Hockey team and as a Relay for Life Team Captain.
She is a member of the National Foreign Language Honor Society, Honor Roll/High Honor Roll, Key Club, Girls Learn International, Math Team, and the Yearbook Club, she has also been a member of the Varsity Track, JV Field Hockey, and the JV Softball teams.

In her spare time, Keara enjoys reading, traveling, and sports.
Her future plans include pursuing a degree in Psychology in order to work with children affected by addiction.
Keara is the daughter of Aidan and Sharon Wood.
