Southampton Hospital Expands Breast Cancer Services West of Canal

Southampton Hospital continues to expand its options for battling breast cancer.

Last week, the Hospital celebrated the addition of two diagnostic services to its radiology site at the Hampton Bays Atrium.

Women can now receive bone densitometry and mammography with tomosynthesis, thanks to funding from the Ellen Hermanson Foundation.

While the critical services are already offered at the Ellen Hermanson Breast Center at Southampton Hospital, adding them to the Atrium increases critical access to services for women living west of the Shinnecock Canal.
