Southampton Hospital's David E. Rogers, MD Center Receives Award
The center received the Peter M. Fox Excellence in AAHIVM Credentialing Award.

Southampton Hospital’s David E. Rogers, MD Center recently received the Peter M. Fox Excellence in AAHIVM Credentialing Award from the American Academy of HIV Medicine.
The center received the award in recognition of its service to those afflicted by HIV/AIDS.
The award was created in memory of Peter M. Fox whose leadership and dedication resulted in the quality and growth of this important HIV credentialing program at the American Academy of HIV Medicine.

“Since its founding over 20 years ago, the Center has distinguished itself by offering state-of-the-art medical care and emotional support to patients and their families,” Robert Chaloner, Southampton Hospital President and CEO, said. “The East End communities we serve are fortunate to have the David E. Rogers, MD Center and we are very proud of the exceptional and compassionate care that our staff at the Center delivers each day.”
The Center has also announced the addition of two new services—Hepatitis C Treatment for HIV/HCV Co-infected for patients who are living with both HIV and Hepatitis C to be treated at one convenient location, and Pre-exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) Care for patients who do not have HIV but are at substantial risk to prevent HIV infection by taking a pill every day.
