Southampton Student Musicians Participate in Hampton Music Educators Association Concerts
Several students represented Southampton Intermediate School at the concerts on Saturday.

Southampton Intermediate School was well represented at the Hampton Music Educators Association (HMEA) Middle School Concerts on Saturday, Jan. 17, at Southold High School.
Sarah Profera, Wayne Moore, and Nick Castillo were selected for the HMEA Band while Sebastian Frowein, Will Cobb, and Evan Bailey participated in the HMEA World Drumming.

The HMEA Chorus included Finuala Cree, Kasia Rus, Olivia Nichols, Katherine Ordonez, Emma Kiely, and Julie Ordonez and the HMEA Orchestra included Jasmin Esposito, Zachary Mobius, Patricia Coo, Kaitlyn Browne, Kealee Gallo, Dreanne Joseph, Camille Valdespino, James Malone, Asia Cofield, and Sarah Eckert.
In addition, several SIS Orchestra members participated in the Long Island Strings Festival Association (LISFA) Grades 5-7 Concert on Sunday, Jan. 18, at Smithtown West High School.

NikaLea Tomicic, Jagger Maddock, Ethan Gates, Sofia Skoldberg, Emmett Wetter, Grace Carter, and Jack Zaloga participated in the annual event.
Eighth grade strings student Robert McKnight will play in the LISFA Grades 8-12 Concert on January 24.
