SOUTHAMPTON, NY — With the first cold snow of the season on Christmas Eve, Southampton students are doing their best to keep community members warm.

Members of the Southampton Intermediate School Early Act Service Club, under the guidance of RoseAnn Gentile, are collecting gently used coats, the district said.

All of the coats collected will be donated to the nonprofit Human Resources of the Hamptons in January, the district said.
