Southampton Students Lauded For Giving Back

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — Southampton Intermediate School students were lauded recently for giving back.

Honored as "Students of the Month" by the Rotary Club of Southampton during its Dec. 8 meeting were Demetrios Lazarakis, Leo Palladino and Paulo Fernandes Jimenez, who were recognized with the honor for the months of October, November and December, respectively, the district said.

The students earned the recognition for going "above and beyond in their service to the community."

They each received a certificate of achievement, the district said.
