Southampton Town Police Explorers Participate in Youth Academy Program
Several explorers participated in the week long program in July and August.

Members of the Southampton Town Police Explorers participated in Suffolk County Police Departments week long Youth Academy Program.
Police Explorer Ashley Simons and Police Explorer Michael Fargo participated in the week long program in July.
Police Explorer Noely Martinez and Police Explorer Zachary Brochu participated in the program this August.

The young adults have been members of the Explorer Program since its inception in November 2014.
The Youth Academy exposes the Explorers to Academy Training that Police Recruits attend for six months.

The Southampton Town Police Explorers participated in the Academy alongside Suffolk County Police Explorers for the week and there was a graduation ceremony on the final day in which friends and family were able to attend.
The Southampton Town Explorer Program allows young adults to learn about Law Enforcement by training alongside Police Officers with opportunities for both classroom and hands on training.
The Explorers also participate in various community programs within the Township with their Police Advisors.
The Southampton Town Police Explorers are open to young adults ages 14 through 20 years of age and enrollment is continuous.
