Southampton Town Police Investigating Sagaponack House Fire As Possible Arson
A fire on Monday morning that destroy a home on Sagaponack Village Historic District is being investigated by police.

Southampton Town Police are currently investigating a fire that destroyed a 17th century home on Sagaponack Village Historic District at 850 Sagg Main Street on Monday Sept. 15, 27east reports.
A gas can and rags soaked in gasoline were found a few yards from the home. Police are investing the fire as a possible arson, according to 27east.
The fire was managed by the Bridgehampton Fire Department with help from the Sag Harbor and Southampton Fire Departments and the Sag Harbor Ambulance Company early Monday morning. The Bridgehampton Fire Department returned around noon that same day after part of the building rekindled.
