Southampton Town Police Welcome New Hires
A total of 5 new officers were sworn in recently, police say.
SOUTHAMPTON, NY — The Southampton Town Police Department recently welcomed five new police officers, who took part in a swearing-in ceremony.
New officers include Dylan DeMasi, Robert Joyce, Kevin O’Brien, Thomas Peyton, and Tyler Smith.
These five officers recently completed Suffolk County Police Academy Training and "are ready to patrol the community of Southampton Town, police said.

Many of these five come from families who have already served in various East End and
