Southampton's Fifth Annual Septemberfest to Take Place This Weekend
The festivities will kick off on Friday.

Southampton’s fifth annual Septemberfest is scheduled to take place this weekend.
The event will take place throughout the Village of Southampton from Friday, September 25 through Sunday, September 27 and will be celebrating Southampton’s 375th Anniversary.
The annual festival will start with a Kick-Off Cocktail Party on Friday night starting at 6:30 p.m. with the County Line Band, sponsored by the Southampton Rotary Club.

SEPT. 26:

- Farmers Market from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Concerts in the Park from 11:45 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. - Performances by Hopefully Forgiven, Black and Sparrow, The Lynn Blue Band, Dan Bailey Tribe and The Next Level Band
- Fun for the Kids from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. - Face painting, airbrush tattoos, pumpkin decorating and more
- Friends of the Library Book Sale from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Harvest Day Fair from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. – Celebrate life in the 19th Century with demonstrations and activities for the whole family
- Art Vendors in the Park from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Agawam Ferry Rides from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Wells Fargo Stagecoach Rides from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Jester Jim: Three shows at 12 p.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. – Juggling, beatbox and comedy
- Chowder Contest from 12 p.m. – Cast your vote for which chowder is the “Best of the Hamptons”
- “Taste of the East End” from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
- Maniac Pumpkin Carvers from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
- Downtown music from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. – Stroll through the Village and enjoy live music by Eastbound Freight, Jim Turner, Mick Hargreaves and Cassandra House
- Street Performers from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. – Enjoy roaming performances on Main Street and Jobs Lane of juggling, stilt-walking and more
SEPT. 27:
- Farmers Market from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Southampton Scavenger Hunt from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Music Together for Kids from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. - Bring the kids to dance, sing and play instruments at a special Music Together with Ina Ferrara
- Concerts in the Park from 11 a.m. – Enjoy a medley of smooth jazz and r&b with Charles Certain and Certain Moves followed by Vanessa Trouble
- Art Vendors in the Park from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- “Taste of the East End” from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Sunday Art in the Park Exhibit from 11 a.m. – Browse the exhibit by local East End artists
- Tango Magic – Dance Performance at 1 p.m.
