Southold Man Caught Driving Drunk in Southampton: Police
The man was stopped for a traffic infraction, police said.
SOUTHAMPTON, NY - A Southold man was busted for driving drunk in Southampton, police said.
According to New York State Police, Christopher J. Hegel, 49, was arrested on Sunday and charged with driving while intoxicated following a stop for a traffic violation on New York State Route 24.
He was slated to appear at Southampton Town Justice court on Monday, police said.
