Thief Steals Two Cash Register Drawers From Gas Station: Cops

QUOGUE, NY — A thief burglarized a Quogue gas station recently, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and detectives from the Village of Quogue Police Department are asking for the public’s help to identify and locate the man who burglarized Speedway, located at 38 Montauk Highway, stealing two register drawers containing cash on Aug. 12 at 2 a.m., police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about the incidents can contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers to submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, texting “SCPD” and a message to “CRIMES” (274637) or emailing www.tipsubmit.com. All calls, text messages and emails will be kept confidential.
