Thief Stole $60K From Vehicle Behind Hamptons Business: Cops

Police say they're looking to question this man. Have you seen him?

BRIDGEHAMPTON, NY — A thief stole around $60,000 from a vehicle parked behind a Hamptons business — and a man is wanted for questioning about the incident, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Southampton Town Police detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify and locate the man wanted for questioning in reference to a grand larceny in Bridgehampton in October, police said.

Someone stole approximately $60,000 from a vehicle parked behind the Candy Kitchen, located on Montauk Highway, police said.

The individual in the photograph is wanted for questioning only at the present time, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
