 Supervisor Extends State of Emergency in Town of Southampton 

Supervisor Jay Schneiderman has signed Emergency Order #2.4 of 2021, extending a State of Emergency for the Town of Southampton until May 1, 2021, as the Town continues to maintain operations, consistent with Orders issued by the Governor and the guidance documents provided by the State and Federal governments with regard to COVID-19.

Town Hall will be open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., on a limited basis. Wait times should be anticipated. Visitors must complete an attestation form and be temperature scanned upon arrival. Other administrative Town offices will also be open on a limited basis. Face coverings must be worn and social distancing observed while visiting these offices.

Interested parties are encouraged to check the Town’s website at www.southamptontownny.gov and the Town Clerk Meeting Portal for relevant meeting notices, agendas and updates in order to determine if a particular public meeting will be conducted either in-person or via Zoom teleconferencing, depending on health or weather-related concerns. Many other services and information are also provided on-line to constituents, and may be found on the Town’s website.

This order is in effect as of 12:00 a.m. on April 16, 2021 through May 1, 2021 at 11:59 p.m.
