It will highlight recent water quality and public health threats in coastal waters while also identifying innovative solutions to these complex problems.
This year’s message is clear: We are out of time to wait, but not out of solutions.

Learn to identify seeds, grow fruits and vegetables in your own backyard, and plant seeds to take home. Storytime, crafts, and a tour of Matthew Lester's Pollinator Garden. ReWild Long Island is accepting applications for its 2026 Summer Environmental Internship in East Hampton, Amagansett, Montauk and Sag Harbor. Open to students in grades 8–12.
Interns grow organic food for local pantries, protect native pollinators, farm oysters, compost, and build real teamwork and leadership skills. They work alongside experienced environmentalists and leave knowing they made a genuine contribution to their community.
Flexible hours. Community service credit. Stipend.
