Unlicensed Man Charged With DWI On Flanders Road: Police
He was arrested early Sunday, police say.
RIVERSIDE, NY — A Riverhead man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated early Sunday, police said.
According to Southampton Town police, at 12:11 a.m., officers saw a driver heading north on Flanders Road near Old Quogue Road and failing to maintain his lane. Julio Vasquez Perez, 56, was arrested and charged with aggravated DWI, moving from lane unsafely, and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, police said.
He was taken to Southampton Town police headquarters and held for morning arraignment, police said.
