SOUTHAMPTON, NY — A popular Upper East Side eatery is set to open a new location in the Hamptons just in time for the sizzling summer season.

TBar Southampton is slated to launch over Memorial Day weekend at 268 Elm Street, bringing "modern American steak, seafood and sushi to the Hamptons dining scene," a release said.

TBar is the brainchild of seasoned restaurateur and founder Tony Fortuna who partnered with entrepreneur Derek Axelrod — former owner of Mexican eatery Teqa, whose family owned the French Connection brand — to bring a younger sister version of the establishment to Southampton with chefs Ben Zwicker and Segundo Pelaez onboard.

The eatery will seat 200 and be open from Thursday through Sunday from 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Memorial Day weekend and seven days a week from 5 p.m. through 11 p.m. from July 4 weekend through Labor Day. A late night Reverse Happy Hour will also be offered from 11 p.m. till 1 a.m. at Bar 2.

"The expansion will take over the former Jue Lan Club space at 268 Elm Street, which will then transform into a more casual sister of TBar with an airy, beachy vibe, as well as indoor and outdoor seating. Just in time for grilling month, patrons can expect the same signature modern American steak and seafood items that the flagship offers, but with some new lighter additions and even more seafood and sushi," the release said.
