On the Water and In the Field: Screening and Launch Party

Help Cornell Cooperative Extension Marine Program celebrate the launch of their new magazine publication and be part of a special screening of the latest episode of On the Water & In The Field, CCE’s news magazine show!

The 28 minute documentary style show features a variety of stories about our local marine environment; issues facing it, science- based solutions helping it, and opportunities to get involved and give back to our bays. Featured topics in this episode include aquaculture, horseshoe crab monitoring, marine and coastal habitat restoration, and more. In each story you’ll hear from CCE Marine Program experts, local elected officials, and members of the community on the importance of our marine ecosystem, maritime heritage, and the importance of inspiring stewardship of our marine resources.

Following the screening, guests will enjoy local oysters and wines and have an opportunity to meet and greet Cornell Cooperative Extension Marine Program experts and learn about how they can get involved with efforts to protect and enhance our marine environment by joining CCE’s Back to the Bays Initiative.
