Water Mill Resident Named Elite Women in Insurance Business America Magazine

A Water Mill insurance professional was recently recognized in a list of the industry’s female elite.

Beth Gardner, who is the Director of Operations at Cook Maran and Associates in Southampton, has been included in Insurance Business America magazine’s Elite Women in Insurance report.

This annual list recognizes the best and the brightest female insurance professionals.

Insurance Business America asked readers, brokerages, agencies and insurers for their nominations and have narrowed it down to 40 individuals.

The report highlights the women’s accomplishments and how they are changing the face of the industry.

“More and more, the insurance industry is embracing change. Across the country, workplaces are celebrating gender diversity and creating opportunities for powerhouse women to rise and make their mark in the business,” the team at Insurance Business America said.

Gardner is very involved in the local community as the past president of the Water Mill Community Club; and elder and head of financial advisory team at the First Presbyterian Church of Southampton.
