Woman Charged With DWI After Head-On Bridgehampton Crash: Police
Both drivers were went to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police say.
BRIDGEHAMPTON, NY — A Hampton Bays woman was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after a head-on crash in Bridgehampton early Saturday, police said.
According to Southampton Town police, the crash took place at 4:01 a.m. on Montauk Highway near Newlight Lane. Kiah Wright, 33, who was heading west in a 2017 Subaru Crosstreck, crossed over into the eastbound lane and hit a 2017 Honda Pilot head-on, police said.
The drivers of both vehicles were taken to Stony Brook Southampton Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries, police said.

Wright was determined to be intoxicated, arrested, charged with misdemeanor DWI, and released on an appearance ticket; she will be arraigned at a later date, police said.
