Woman Charged With DWI In East Quogue: Police

EAST QUOGUE, — A Remsenburg woman was charged with driving while intoxicated in East Quogue on Saturday, police said.

According to Southampton Town police, at 1:02 a.m. Audrey M. Fritsch, 27, was seen in a 2015 Jeep traveling westbound on Montauk Highway near Old Country Road in East Quogue, failing to maintain her lane. A traffic stop was conducted, and further investigation found her to be intoxicated, police said.

Fritsch was arrested at the scene and transported to Southampton Town Police headquarters, where she was charged with misdemeanor DWI and several violations of vehicle and traffic law, police said. She was processed and held for morning arraignment at Southampton Town Justice Court, police said.
