2 Involved In Road Rage Incident On I-84 Killed By 3rd Driver: NYSP

The men had stopped their cars in the right lane and gotten out to argue, police said.

PUTNAM COUNTY, NY — Two men died on Interstate 84 on Saturday after they stopped their cars on the road and got out to argue with each other, New York State police said.

Police said the incident, which is still under investigation, involved late-night road rage.

Westbound on I-84 at about 1:30 a.m., Mark H. Hall, 38, of Holmes, NY, and Fabian A. Tirado, 22, of Wappinger, NY, stopped their vehicles — in the right lane — and got out to continue arguing, police said.

While they were doing so, a third vehicle struck them.

They were pronounced dead at the scene. The third driver suffered minor injuries and was transported to Danbury Hospital, police said.
