2 Shoplifting Arrests at ShopRite on Route 52
A Southeast resident and a Kent resident face charges.

Two recent shoplifting incidents at the ShopRite on Route 52 have led to arrests by the Putnam County Sheriff’s office.
On Nov. 4 Deputy Sheriff Adam McKechnie was advised by a store security officer that he had apprehended a female suspect who had stolen quantities of merchandise. The woman was identified as Dale L. Donato, 75, of 48 Seven Oaks Lane, Southeast. The deputy arrested Donato and charged her with Petit Larceny, a misdemeanor. She has a Dec. 14 court appearance.
On Nov. 5, 2015 Deputy Sheriff Andrew Kristan was dispatched there. The store loss prevention officer advised the deputy that he had apprehended a female suspect who had stolen quantities of merchandise. The shoplifter was identified as Diana E. Orellana, 32, of 109 Horsepound Road, Kent. She was charged with Petit Larceny, a misdemeanor. She is due in Carmel town court Dec. 1.
