NYSEG Restores Power To Customers In Putnam, Westchester

The remnants of Florence came into the Hudson Valley overnight.

UPDATE: All power has been restored to customers who lost electricity in Putnam and Westchester counties as the remnants of tropical storm Florence came through.


NYSEG reports 280 customers without power in Putnam and Westchester counties Tuesday morning. The remnants of Florence came in with intensity overnight.

There are 270 customers without electricity in Putnam and 10 without electricity in Westchester, the utility posted on its website.

The Putnam outages are all in the hamlet of Carmel -- most on Gypsy Trail Road and Woodland Drive.
