4 New Winning Acts at Brewster’s Got Talent
The event raised about $6,000 for the Brewster Education Foundation, which supports programs and projects throughout the school district.

BREWSTER, NY — Four first-time winners stole the show at the sixth annual Brewster’s Got Talent show. The event, held at Brewster High School Jan. 24, raised about $6,000 for the Brewster Education Foundation.
The overall winner was Wells Middle School seventh-grader Arianna Arocho. She mesmerized the 500 audience members with her version of the Whitney Houston classic “I Have Nothing."
Wells School had a second winner: sixth-grader Bianca Torke, who won the Youth Division performing as a contortionist to the song “Creepy Amusement Park."

The High School Division winner was Chris Saas. The senior amazed the judges by playing an original instrumental composition on his electrical guitar.
Shayne Pelliccio won the Adult Division with her beautiful rendition of “Hallelujah” by Alexandra Burke.

"Every year the show gets better and better,” said Brewster’s Got Talent Chairma Joe Cavanagh. “It was impressive to have so many middle school acts perform so well."
The Brewster Education Foundation provides college scholarships for Brewster High School seniors and supports district-wide projects and programs with grants.
The next foundation event is the Spring Gala on April 24 at Salem Golf Club. Tickets can be purchased at www.bef.org.
