
State transportation officials warn motorists that beginning Tuesday through Friday, lane closures are expected to occur along Route 9D between the Bear Mountain Bridge (Route 202/6) in the town of Phillipstown (Putnam County) and Slocum Road in town of Fishkill (Dutchess County), so crews can perform maintenance activities.
Closures are planned from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., weather permitting.
The flow of traffic will be controlled by flaggers, but motorists may experience delays.

Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through the work zone area and pay particular attention to all workers and traffic control devices, including signs.
Motorists are reminded that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individualβs driver license.
