American Heart Association's Free Dinner and Learn Event in Southeast
Dr. Patrick Thomas will be teaching the 'Heart Disease Prevention' lecture at the Dinner and Learn event on Feb. 16.

From The American Heart Association: Come learn about “Heart Disease Prevention” with Dr. Patrick Thomas, Cardiologist, at the American Heart Association's Dinner and Learn lecture on Thursday, February 16, at 5:30 PM, at Putnam Ridge, 46 Mt. Ebo Rd. N., Brewster! Heart disease and strokes are leading causes of death each year in the U.S. While living a healthy lifestyle can reduce risks, there are often other factors that need to be taken into consideration. Dr. Thomas will talk about prevention, detection and strategies to help individuals’ to live healthier lives, including eating well, being active, and avoid risky lifestyle habits.
Dr. Patrick Thomas is a board certified cardiologist at NYU Hudson Valley Cardiology, and has served patients throughout Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess Counties in New York since 2002. His interests include discovering new medical therapies to prevent and treat a variety of cardiovascular conditions, such as heart attacks, strokes, and heart failure.
A light heart-healthy dinner will be served during the lecture. This co-sponsored event by the American Heart Association and Putnam Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is free and open to the public. Seating is limited and is subject to inclement weather.
